When does a card get hotlisted? Recently, I was purchasing some google domains through my debit card. Alright, so what? What happened is that just after the amount got debited from my account, I received a message that your debit card has been blocked. I didn't quite understand that what had happened and why am I receiving this message. To make sure I logged onto the net-banking platform to check the status of my debit card. To my surprise, I saw that the status has changed from "active" to "hotlisted". Yes, even I got confused. After some research I understood what was going on. So what happens is there is a fraud identification department in the banks, which keep a track on the transactions that you incur from your debit card. If they feel that any suspicious transaction has been done, then they block your card by making it hotlisted. Sometimes your card can even get hotlisted by organisations like VISA or MasterCard in the same case of suspicious transactions...

If you don't understand, just skip this post. Every person out there has his/her own interests and way of living. Would you like to buy a luxury car and give rich companies more money or would you like to be the reason ...

What is stoozing and what are the benefits and risks of stoozing? A lot of us are skeptical as to whether we should use a credit card or not. Today I am gonna make that simple for you.  What is stoozing? Stoozing is making use of interest-free credit or 0% credit to earn some free cash which would have not been possible if you were an only debit card user.  Basic Version: The basic version of stoozing would be to make as many purchases as you can through your credit card and maintain an equivalent cash balance in your bank account or in money market instruments like liquid funds. Now, by "as many purchases" I mean the purchases which you made earlier as well but through your debit card. Liquid Funds usually give 7% interest per annum. The question is where is the profit. Well, earlier you would have spent the money from your bank account and you wouldn't have been able to earn any interest on that money. But now, using credit card u have made t...
